Site News

We distribute a site newsletter at the end of every month to all PIs and lead research nurses/the main contacts for each site. We encourage this to then be forwarded onto all team members who are currently working on FEED1. Please inform us via email at feed1@nottingham.ac.uk if you do not receive this newsletter. Moreover, we also believe it would be a great idea for each site to print off this newsletter and pin it to your staff noticeboard.

See below our newsletter for last month, February 2024:

We also share a lot of FEED1's trial news on our Twitter account. Content is added atleast once a week, so please follow us to keep updated!

International Womens Day 2024

As you may be aware, 'International Women's Day' was on the 8th March 2024

We are so proud to have so many dedicated women working as part of our FEED1 team, as well as the incredible mothers who have taken part in the FEED1 study. FEED1 wouldn't be possible without all of these amazing women.

This year we wanted to celebrate some special women across our sites and asked for nominations for a woman working on the FEED1 study who deserves recognition.

Our winners were:

  • Jamie Evans from Singleton Hospital
  • Jenni Jones from Glan Clwyd
  • Girija Gowda from Epsom and St Helier
  • The neonatal nursing team and research nursing team from Lister Hospital
  • Batia Gourin from Imperial Healthcare
