2 Year Follow Up

We are delighted to annouce that the NIHR HTA board have approved funding for a 2 year neurodevelopmental follow up and health economics analysis for the FEED1 trial. 

We welcome Professor Samantha Johnson to our team!

Samantha will be working with us to conduct the 2 year neurodevelopmental follow up. We are so excited to have her as part of the FEED1 team. 

Get to know Professor Samantha Johnson

She is a Professor of Child Development in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Leicester. Her research interests are focused on the study of long term outcomes following high risk birth and she has a programme of research aimed at understanding and improving developmental, psychological and educational outcomes for children born preterm. She is involved in a range of cohort studies and clinical trials of perinatal interventions and has a keen interest in developing methods for outcome assessment.
